Frozen Hell

"As much as I hate to say it, Tom is right..." He muttered turning his gaze back at the man, "If you can not prove a valid reason as to why we should not punish you for harming my daughter, then I'm afraid I won't hold back." He growled.

"God damn it Louis, You can't listen for five minuts!?" Rosalind snapped, "People keep on-" She began to yell but Aurora cut in.

"Now, let's not raise voices..." She muttered.

"Here we go again..." rosalind muttered as Aurora continued.

"Louis, you do not question whether his word is valid that he save our daughter?" She asked holding her husbands arm, "Rosalind?" Aurora asked her daughter smiling at her.

"He did Daddy, he really did." She said holsind his hand with both of hers.

"Don't you see Louis? You owe him your daughters life" Aurora said smiling at the boy.

Louis glared at the boy once more before escaping the girls' grasp.

"Aurora, you do what you wish with him..." He muttered, "My word obviously isn't law in my own house." He spat as he stormed into the house angrilly.

"Well, isn't this lovely." Cook said smiling, "We now have a third guest!" He smiled as he walked back into the house whistling.

"I'll just be going then..." Lucian said as he turned to walk away.

"Well that's not very fair..." Rosalind muttered smiling, "You obviously know my name by this point, but I don't seem to know yours." She said, "I would wish to at least like to know the name of my savior." She explained taking a few paces towards the man.

"Not only that, I must repay my daughters savior." Aurora gleamed, "Come... stay the night. It's the least we could do." She said smiling kindly, "Give you some fresh cloths, let you clean up, and give you time to decide whether you would like to stay with us for a while, or continue on your aimless voyage." she added turning to walk back inside.

"Please stay..." She paused awaiting to hear the man's name.

Smiling at Rosalind he answered.

"My name is..." He paused thinking of whether he could trust the girl or not, "My name is Lucian Roth." He told her smiling staring into her beautiful green eyes.

"Well then... Lucian Roth." She said, "Please stay the night?" She asked reaching for the mans hand.

Feeling the girls cold fingers on his hand he pulled back slightly before smiling as he realised what it was she was doing. Taking her hand gently he followed as she led him into the house, receiving glares from her brothers and father as they went. Although half the people he's met were glaring at him, he couldn't help but smile. The girls hand was warmer than most he's felt before. She was obviously a young one.

"So, where exactly are you taking me miss?" He asked looking down at her.

Rosalind Smiled as he took her hand. As she led Lucian back into the house, she noticed the glares he was receiving. Glaring back she pulled him along a little faster.

"I'm taking you to Aurora's room for some clean cloths, and the We're going to let you get cleaned up," She explained, "And if you're feeling hungry I'm sure we'll have no probleme finding you some food." She added turning to stare at the man.

"Rosalind!" Aurora called from down the hall. Smiling Rosalind nodded as she led Lucian down the hall still holding his hand.

"Just follow Mother, she'll give you some clean clothes, then I'll show you to the bath hall." Rosalind said smiling at the man.

Once Lucian had gone to see Aurora, Rosalind Smiled and blushed as she walked a ways back down the hall to where she and Lana had been watching Milosh, and Tom. Opening the Glass double doors she stepped out onto the balcony leaning out over the rail as the snow fell around her.

Smiling at 'Demsel in distress' he had saved moments ago, Lucian entered the room, and was passed a pair of clean clothes.

"Thank you." He said smiling at the woman called Aurora. As he left the room Rosalind was nowhere to be found. Walking slowly down the hall towards where they had come from, he felt a cool breeze. Turning his head he saw Rosaling standing out on yet an other balcony.

"Are you sure it's safe for you to be standing out there?" He asked smirking, "I mean... We both remember last time." He laughed teasing as he leaned on the doorframe. walking towards her he stood only a hew inches away from her while she was backed up against the railing.

"Unless you have an urge to have me jump and save you again." He said smirking down at the gorgeous girl.

Rosalind couldn't hold back the blush any longer. Manouvering around the man she stood in the doorway.

"I'll show you to the baths so you can get cleaned up." She said as her voice shook, "Follow me..." She muttered leading Lucian down the hall. As they walked Rosalind found the she was unable to find Lana, or Balo. I wonder if they left...? She thought to herself, and upon reaching a navy door she pushed it open.

"You can get cleaned up in here, I'll be waiting in the entrance hall for you to finish up." she explained smilng, and she walked back towards the staircase. Unable to suppress a sigh Rosalind walked down the staircase, and seated herself at the large piano. smiling she just let her fingers hit the keys lightly.

Tom smiled as he spotted his sister at the piano.

"I'll be right there..." He told Milosh as he went to sit beside her, "play with me?" He asked eagerly brushing his fingers lightly over the keys.

Balo led Lana through the halls of the house. "You seem to like it here. Everyone seems to be very friendly with you. I guess that comes with being part of the family. How long do you plan of staying here?" Balo decided it would be better if he eased into it rather than drop it like a ton of bricks.

"I...don't really know." Lana admitted and fiddled with her dress, a nervous habit of hers. "Everyone here is so nice and comforting. I like living here with Rosalind and Milosh. It's a bit nicer than having to travel around everyday. Why do you ask?"

"Balo?" Lana asked softly as she placed her hand on her friend's shoulder. He had been silent this whole time, not answering her question. "Balo, what is it that you want to tell me?"

Rosalind nodded playing a few notes, and waiting for her brother to join in. As they played she was smiling widely. As most songs do, it came to an end, and Tom departed to catch up with Milosh. When he did Rosalind conitnued to play.

As Lucian Cried off, and threw on the cloths givin, he couldn't help but feel a little insecure in them. This wasn't exactly his style of dress. Brushing the thought aside he made his way back to the entrance hall. Hearing the duet he smiled, and as rosalind continued to play a solo. walking down the stairs silently he stood behind her to listen.

Hearing somthing behind her she saw Lucian standing there. scaring her slightly she stood quickly ending the song in an accidental crash of notes.

"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." He muttered moving to stand beside the piano, "Lovely." He said smiling, "The song you were playing." He added quickly.

Rosalind couldn't help but smile and blush at this comment, knowing his true intentions behind the words.

"Thank you." she said smiling, "You look quite handsom." She comented fixing the collar of his shirt. Staring at him she soon realised she barely knew the man.

"Would you like something to eat?" She asked taking a step back.

"Thank you." He said smiling, "You look quite beautiful." He commented brushing a lock of curly red hair out of her face placing his hand on her shoulder by her neck gently. As she pulled away, he simply smiled.

"I would love something to eat, thank you." He replied smiling as fallowed the girl to get something to eat.

Rosalind walked slowly to the kitchen feeling Lucian close behind her. wanting to know how close he was without turning her head showing how nervous she was, she turned around and stopped.

"What would you like to-" She began asking him what in was that her wanted to eat, but she was cut off as she ran into the man falling backwards.

Walking close behind the girl he couldn't help but smile. Her sent was strong compared to the others in this house. As she turned he couldn't stop fast enough and bumped into her. As she fell he grabbed her waist, and pulled her in towards him to keep her from falling.

"Are you ok?" He asked keeping her close as he looked down into her beautiful green eyes.

With her head on his chest she could hear what little heart beat he had left. Looking up she couldn't resist, and smiled.

"You're just saving me left right, and center today aren't you?" She asked laughing quietly. Blushing she noticed how close they were, but didn't want to move from this spot in his arms.

"Should I be letting go now?" He asked hoping the answer was no, but at the same time he knew that he had no chances with her. Judging the fact that her father Louis, or what ever his name was wouldn't hesitate to kill him if needed, and her brothers weren't very impressed with what ever it was that he had done wrong, he doubted he would have any luck with the girl.

"I should probably leave soon." He said whispering in her ear.

"I don't want you to let go..." She mummbled looking up into his eyes, "what's funny is a barely know who you are, and already I want to be close to you." She whispered smiling. Hearing these words she looked up at him with hurt in her eyes.

"Why would you leave?" She asked earger for an explination, "You just got here..." She said fighting back the tears that came at the thought of him leaving her.

Smiling he hugged the girl close.

"I'm glad you're so eager for me to stay to get to know me, but that's where we're different." He muttered stroking her soft hair, "while you enjoy living here with your parent's, and brothers, I'm a nomad." He explained, "besides, I don't think your father or brothers like me very much..." He laughed smiling down into her green eyes. Kissing her forehead he smiled holding her hands in his own.

"I'm sorry." He said turning to leave.
