Trying to keep her mind occupied, Lana set to work on scrubbing the grime from her body, grumbling a bit when she couldn't reach her back. Several old scars showed themselves on her back, reminders of all the times she had gotten lucky when fighting for her life.

"Here..." She muttered moving behind Lana, and washed her back, "Now you see, doesn't it feel nice to have a bath more often than once a year?" She asked smirking as she washed away any dirty spots of Lana's back. seeing the scars Rosalind ignored it and decided it wasn't best to ask at this point in time. smiling she passed the girl the cloth, and hopped back over into her bath washing up quickly, and getting out wrapping herself up in her towls.

"If you haven't noticed, he is not exactly a probleme to me, for I highly doubt that I would, or should, have problemes with a mere child." He snapped staring down at the man, "unlike you who obviously doesn't realise, you gain, and master your strength through age, and he hasn't seen the things I have, he has not felt the pain that I have, he has not killed the amount of humans I have to get to this point in my life, and if you keep flapping that mouth of yours You'll be the next one on my list." He spat as his eyes blackened, and his fangs formed.

"Milosh, restrain, and watch him." he ordered as he left to fin Tom.

Now that actually felt nice, having someone scrub her back for her. Lana was almost sad when it ended, but got out of the bath and dried herself off with her towels. Once done, she slipped the dress given to her, feeling how it hugged her slender frame. It actually looked pretty good. Maybe she should start wearing dresses more often. The sight of Rosalind in her dress was enough to take her breath away; she looked amazing in it.

Sanguine swallowed nervously as he tried not to move too much in front of Milosh. He didn't want the vampire to suddenly get hungry and bite into him...

Without even waiting for a response, Lana pushed Milosh ahead. "Start moving."

"Sure why not? I'll wait here for who knows how long. Damn it. Why do I get stuck having to wait for her while she goes off to their den?" Balo sat at the base of a tree throwing pebbles around. Something didn't feel right to Balo. Lana was taking too long. She was just supposed to go in and get out with her client. If she wasn't back in the next half hour, Balo decided he would go sniff around to see if he could follow her scent. "I know she said to stay here, but it's cold out here and I did plenty of waiting back at the inn. Sorry Lana but I gots to have my fun too." Balo thought to himself. At least he will give the 30 minutes to her. Balo was about to go back to throwing pebbles to pass the time.

"Hey Tom! Can you move your head around? It's not fun hitting still targets." Hey. He wasn't hurting him. Physically anyway.

After spending some time in the vampire's house, Lana soon remembered what she had almost forgotten. Balo was still back at the lodge...looking after Tom. She decided to send since it was quick, easy, and silent.

'Balo, are you still there? Tell me you haven't gotten yourself into any trouble.'

Balo just about to doze off when he jolted into awareness. "Holy crap! I hate it when you do that. Got to give me a heads up when you do that. Anyways, are you alright? Taking quiet a long time. Did they hurt you? Where are you?"

Although his mind was busy, he still found some space to keep throwing pebbles. "Dang it Tom. Move!"

'Tried that once. You still freaked out...and I still crack up when I think about it. I'm fine, they haven't hurt me in the least. I now know why Milosh's father wants me so bad.' Lana sent as she watched Milosh push Sanguine into another room. 'Apparently, Milosh is my ancient relative. The dude's 217 years old and claims that we're family...'

'So what? You planning on just leaving me out here to freeze and starve while you are just enjoying the luxuries your new "family" has to offer? Not my idea of fun time for me. Let me guess. Judging by what Tom here is wearing, I bet they got you in some pretty dress after they gave a nice long scrub down?"

15 minutes left...

"Hey, Lana, You're blanking out there..." Rosalind giggled snapping her fingers in the girls face, "what's up? You hungry?" She asked tilting her head to one side like a puppy as her red hair fall over one shoulder, "we're going to be having diner soon. I'm sure if you wanted we could make it easier for you and bring your friend that you were with here if you want." she suggested smiling sweetly.

'Getting kind of tired of throwing rocks at this guys head. Getting kind of hungry. Slightly tired. Really thirsty. Oh and IT'S COLD! How do you plan to get away anyway? Not like they are just going to let you walk out."

Walking through the forest he caught glimps of Tom tied up against a tree. Glaring at the boy sitting before him he stormed over, and cut Toms restraints watching him fall forewards to the ground not expecting to be freed unknowingly.

"Tom, get up." Louis ordered glaring at the boy sitting there.

"Huh? Oh, that'd be great. Thanks, Rosalind." Lana said with a smile. She then sent to Balo.

'Just got the okay from one of them saying it'll be okay if you came here. I'm in a rather nice house out in the middle of almost nowhere. Just head out and look for the silver dagger; it'll point you in the right direction.'

Turning back to Rosalind, Lana asked, "So, what's for dinner, Ros?"

Rosalind smiled at the girl.

"I don't know, it all depends on what cook decides to make." she answered smiling, "He never told us his name, we just found him wandering around one day and all he said over and over again was food, must cook, cook must cook food." She said staring at her hands as she walked to the stairs leading down to the main entrance, "He basically started from scratch when it came to speaking. He learns fast, and he's an amazing chef. He's not exactly a worker here, but more like an Uncle." She chuckled, "He's not a vampire if you were wondering." She added walking to a swinging door. Smiling she saw a man standing by the oven.

"Hey cook, what's for diner?" She asked walking over to the man receiving a warm hug.

"Ok, could you stop throwing rocks at me!" he shouted flailing as best he could when tied up. Glaring at the other boy he soon found himself falling forewards.

"What the!" he shouted as he fell face first to the ground. Hearing Louis' order he stood up, and brushed the snow, and dirt that had collected to his clothes.

'Uh Lana? I think I will have to hold off on that for a while. Seems I have a guest and would hate to not show him a good time.' Balo began to stand up.

"And how may I ask are you? Didn't your mother ever teach not to take hostages from other people?" Balo took his scythe out.

"Seems like a nice guy," Lana commented as she watched this little display. She spoke to the cook and extended her hand in a friendly handshake. "Hi, I'm Lana Black. I'm new here."

'Guest? Well, just take care of yourself. What does he look like anyway?' She sent and tried to keep a straight face.

Cook smiled at the two young ladies.

"Now Rosy, your young friend must be about your age to have such a lovely face." He complimented bowing his head slightly at their guest.

Louis stood there glaring at the boy.

"I must correct you. The true question is what were you doing with my son?" He asked through clenched teeth not bothering with any weapons, "Before I'm forced to do something harsh, tell me. What's your name and why exactly was my son in your hands?" He added clenching his fists.

Lana was a bit taken aback from this comment, a small blush visible on her features. "Umm...thank you."

'Some old looking guy that's telling me Tom is his son or something. Sound familiar?'

"Well technically speaking your son is over there next to you. All I have in my hands are these stones. So unless you have stones for sons, I have no clue what you are talking about." Balo used a sarcastic tone just to put insult to injury. Balo began to think 'How much harm can this do? Doesn't look like much.'

"Acctually she's younger than me, by about... 119 years." Kylaxie nodded smiling at Rosalind.

Cook stared at the girl slightly shocked.

"You're only sixteen?" He asked surprised, "You must be a new one then." He smiled as her checked the contents of the oven, "Enough chit chat. You girls are bound to get something on those beautiful gowns in here." He said smiling, "Now, Diner is going to be a surprise, so I'll talk to you again over diner yes?" He asked with an arm around both their shoulders, "Now out!" He laughed pushing them gently out of the kitchen.

"Who were you holding him for? what was the purpose of keeping him here?" He asked wanting answers.

Balo saw that this guy had no sense of humor. "Alright calm down. I wasn't holding him for anyone. Some guy named Milosh took my friend up to their dwelling. Part of the agreement was that Milosh would take her up there while I held on to your son there until she got back. After that, the plan was to release him. Then again, in order for that to have happened she would have had to come back. With you being here to get your back, I take it you guys aren't going to let her come back are you?"

Lana's jaw nearly dropped when she caught Balo's sent message. There was only one old looking guy that she knew of here. 'Balo, don't even think about dealing with this guy on your own. He's their master!'

"Aw, come on cook... You know how much fun I have in the kitchen..." She whinned as they were pushed out the door, "Please?" She pouted, and receiving a shake of the head from cook she let out a sigh.

"Well, that was obviously a no as to telling us what's for diner." She giggle as she went and sat at a piano that was placed nicely in the corner of the entrance hall playing a little song, "What's the matter?" She asked seeing the girls terrified expression.
